Around Duck Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here; July is when it's the driest. A perfect place to camp here at Duck Lake is Crescent Oaks RV Park, and a great close by hotel is Odessa Inn. Duck Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, River Rue is a fine local campground, and Eight Bar B Motel is a delightful place to get some rest.       Summertime highs at Duck Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's.
