The beauty of Dry Pond is reason enough to stop by. Much precipitation falls at Dry Pond; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. Going for a hike on the Mount Jupiter Trail is always a splendid adventure; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hamma Hamma River.

Dry Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Trask Timber Trails Assn is a great local campground, and the great people of Shelton like to hang out nearby. Lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Grass Lake in the vicinity of Dry Pond. There's so much to do here at Dry Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Summertide Resort is a good location for that.
