If you come at the right time of year, Kettle River offers some nice whitewater; you can stay the night at North Gorge Campground. Dry Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sherman Creek; the panorama of       Bonanza Hill is picturesque. Around Dry Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and September is the month with the least moisture. There are other places here than Dry Lake, for example Williams Lake, and Comfort Inn Colville is a delightful spot to get some rest. All through the summertime months at Dry Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and all through the night it cools                  down to the 40's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Dry Lake all through the winter generally sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
