You get a fine sight of Old Maid Mountain from Dry Lake, and camping at South Navarre Campground is always a nice experience. Drift down the rapids of Methow River in a kayak. Lakes are good; Cub Lake is a lake that's near Dry Lake. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Summertime at Dry Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are       frequently in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dry Lake sink into the 20's. The amount of rainfall that falls at Dry Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that snows the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Dry Lake. The Hunters Trail offers hiking at its                  best, and if you need a location to stay Sun Mountain Lodge is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Winthrop, and a wonderful location to camp here at Dry Lake is War Creek Campground. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. There's tremendous hiking along the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Twisp River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Duncan Hill Trail; close by you find Hoodoo Pass which is a great spot to go to.
