If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Drano Lake. Drano Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mitchell Point is relatively right next door to Drano Lake, and there are magnificent sites to discover along the Little Baldy Trail. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Why not pop

During the summer at Drano Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. far at all from Drano Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Nestor Peak Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and you'll come across a gorgeous lake called Green Point Lower Reservoir. Life's too short to
enjoy all the enjoyable things near Drano Lake. Drift down the rapids of Little White Salmon River in a kayak, and Best Western Hood River Inn is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sunset
RV Park, and a day on the slopes of Cooper Spur is just what you need. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Why not camp at Timberlake Campground since you're here at
Drano Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Comfort Suites Hood River. That right there is a load of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Put some time aside to spend at Perham Creek Spring
while you're here at Drano Lake, and don't leave Drano Lake without first going for a hike along the Little Huckleberry Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. At Drano Lake you can catch
a sight of Chemawa Hill, and if you come at the right time of year, Hood River - West Fork offers some great whitewater. The skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows is tremendous, and if you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Hood River Golf Course. Drano Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range.
