Dragon Lake is a lake worth visiting. Throughout the warm days of summer at Dragon Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Dragon Lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Olympic Mountains. Not far from Dragon Lake, you'll hit upon Deer Lake which is a striking lake, and a fine place to camp

| | here at Dragon Lake is Soleduck Campground. This place, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Hoh River - South Fork, and a quick trip to Slate Creek is without doubt a nice idea. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Bogachiel Lake is a lake that's close to Dragon Lake, and paddling on Tshletshy River is so much fun. River Trail offers hiking at its best. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mink Lake Trail, and Dragon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hoh Campground is a great local
campground. Dragon Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Lake Quinault Lodge, and the skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is nice. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dragon Lake; Canyon Creek Hoh Trail is a pleasant local trail, and after a long day outdoors Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two.

My daughter and grandchildren have been here and they love it also. It is a great rustic family place. We relax listening to the ebbing tides at night, collect rocks and shells, roast marshmallows for smores and just have fun. Last time we fount a great fishing hole and handicap assessable and it had fire rings bathrooms tables camping sites right down the road. From WCB.
