There's so much to do here at Dot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Quincy Valley Golf is a perfect site for that, and Sand Hollow Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Dot Lake is pretty dried out frequently; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. All through the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Dot Lake with night lows       in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Dot Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. Not far from Dot Lake, you'll find Ancient Lake which is a delightful lake, and Cave B Inn at SageCliffe is a good location to get some rest. If you came to camp Post Road Trailer Court is a fine spot to do that.
