     If you came for an overnight stay Quincy Valley Golf is a glorious place to camp, and a lake nearby is Cup Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Sand Hollow Creek; Quincy Golf Club is a golf course nearby. For the duration of the summer at Dot Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at  
   Dot Lake plunge into the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rama Inn, and Cave B Inn at SageCliffe is a great site to get some rest.
It is very dried up here at Dot Lake generally; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. Be careful coming to Dot Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. Post Road Trailer Court is a magnificent local campground; if you get bored of Dot Lake you could also take a look at close by Spring Lakes.
