This was a beautiful hike, coming out on a lake that was pristine and gorgeous. The only problem is, the hike is really long, steep, up hill, and was exhausting for me. I would consider this an upper intermediate hike.

Many people like to go to Lake Dorothy. Visit Youngs Creek since you're here at Lake Dorothy; you can run the rapids of Sultan River. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and Cherry Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. For the period of the summertime highs here at Lake Dorothy reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the
30's for Lake Dorothy. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Skykomish River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lake Dorothy is a fine place to camp, Lake Bronson Assoc Nudist Park is a fine place.
