If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lake Dorothy. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Bear Lake is a lake nearby; after a long day outdoors Skyriver Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Lake Dorothy generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout

| | the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Dorothy plunge into the 30's.
Near Lake Dorothy you hit upon the Pratt Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Cascadia Inn is a splendid place to get some rest; get yourself into a kayak and hit Miller River - East Fork. But wait, there's more to do next to Lake Dorothy. Take a little spree to Camp Robber Creek if you're here at Lake Dorothy, | |

and why not camp at Foss River Campground if you're here at Lake Dorothy.
Lake Dorothy mostly gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Alpental is just what you need; the Annette Lake Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Stephens Pass is tremendous, and if the weather
is great, you can go for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A brilliant spot to camp here at Lake Dorothy is West Fork Campground, and Florence Falls is
an inspiring place to take a look at while you're here. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Miller River - West Fo, and Camp Robber Valley is nearby, and is a great spot.
