This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a nice view of Chiwaukum Mountains from Lake Donald, and camping at White Pine Campground is always a great experience. That right there is a heap of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Lake Donald is not the only site close       by, Chiwaukum Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. During the days of summer highs here at Lake Donald get into the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Lake Donald during the winter generally dip into the 10's. This place, Lake Donald, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Have a perfect                  hiking adventure along the Icicle Trail, and the lovely Chiwaukum Mountains is here. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Paddling on Icicle Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at Rock Island Campground. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range. Places like Ewing Basin are wonderful to take a look at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Icicle Inn is a fine location to spend a night or two. Much rainfall falls at Lake Donald; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
