If you came to camp Jack's RV Park and Motel is a great location to do that, and of course, this is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes, Schalow Pond is a lake in close proximity. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even       more amusing things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Schallow Lake Dam is worth going to while you're here, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Peppertree Inn at Omak is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. And that's not all you can do here at Doheney Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Schallow Lake is in close proximity to Doheney Lake; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike                  along the Coxit Creek Trail. At Doheney Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Doheney Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Doheney Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sugarloaf Campgrounds is a perfect site for that, and hiking along the Funk Mountain Trail is great fun. Dunn Mountain is gorgeous and can be seen from Doheney Lake; going for a hike along the Sarsapkin Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Doheney Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls during December, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!
