Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a brilliant local destination here at Dixie Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Arlington Motor Inn is a splendid choice. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Camping is available at Pilchuck Bridge Campground, and Pilchuck Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.

at its best, and the summit of Haystack Mountain can be spotted from Dixie Lake. Through the warm days of summer at Dixie Lake highs are regularly in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the
wintertime come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Dixie Lake through the winter usually fall into the 30's.
