But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Pilchuck Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; there are plenty of folks from Mount Vernon-Anacortes here at Dixie Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Dixie Lake a reasonably wet spot; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day       to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. You can run the rapids of Day Creek near Dixie Lake, and do go to Wagner Lake, it's a scenic lake.
