Barbour Creek is a splendid local stream, and going for a hike on the Allens Bay Trail is always a splendid adventure. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Olympic Mountains. Kalaloch Lodge is       a good place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Dickey Lake. Do stop by Big Joes Lake near Dickey Lake, it's a stunning lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hoko River. Thunder Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and camping at Angler's Hideaway is always a perfect experience. Dickey Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Dickey Lake. Summer overnight lows fall                  down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows at Dickey Lake all through the wintertime mostly fall into the 30's. Dickey Lake generally gets lots of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is August. This lake is so wonderful.
