Bear Creek Campground
 | 18 miles away Why is it called Deadmans Hill? There is supposed to be a forest road that navigates the north side of Deadmans Hill which is actually a series of mountain tops covered in thick forests about 2,500 feet tall. I have camped at Bear Creek since the summer of 2003 and it is really in the center of everything in the North Olympic Peninsula. This is the best area I have ever camped at in the US but there is no hot shower. Stars on a clear night are so great and the cool nights are appreciated even when it is really hot over in Seattle.... |
