Camping is available at Carl Precht Memorial RV Park, and Wagonroad Coulee is also a wonderful location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Loup Loup Ski Bowl close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dick Price Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Dick Price Lake.

Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Camping at Margie's RV Park is always a magnificent experience; do have a look at North Fork
Pine Creek since you're here at Dick Price Lake.
Dick Price Lake is pretty arid usually; the month with most of the snow is December; July meanwhile is the driest month.

Funk Mountain Trail

My husband and I, along with my sister and her boyfriend all hiked Funk Mountain Trail in June this year (2009). The trail mentioned here is mostly a cattle grazing area now, but you can hike up the old road to the Lookout, about 1.5 miles. Once there, the view is truly great. Be careful at the Lookout. I don't know how safe it is so use plenty of caution. The hike was fun; we met some friendly ATV'ers on the way up. There was an abundance of butterflies, and hot, yellow sunshine streaming down. This is an excellent hike for beginners, or those with bad knees or new shoes. The vistas are very pleasant, and there are no crowds.
The nearby town of Conconully is another high point for this trip. It's very small and has a contented, peaceful ambience. Conconully Lake doesn't have a great swim beach, but it's enjoyable for a canoe or kayak paddle on a warm day. ... |
