Diamond Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, State Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and don't leave Diamond Lake without first going for a hike along the Kachess Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Diamond Lake, you could also take a look at close by Cooper Lake; there are some nice whitewater spots on Cooper River. If you like

Very delightful scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Snoqualmie, and if you need a place to stay Stewart Lodge is a good choice. There are brilliant places to look at along the Red Mountain Trail. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You'll need more than a day to | |

explore everything Diamond Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hour Creek Campground, and a lake nearby is Little Joe Lake. Diamond Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. During the summer highs here at Diamond
Lake reach the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Diamond Lake. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much
outdoors cool things. What would winter be without some skiing at Stephens Pass, and going for a hike on the Escondido Trail is always a brilliant adventure. There's so much to do here at Diamond Lake that you need to camp here
for a while, Salmon la Sac Campground is a magnificent place for that; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Waptus River. Diamond Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a great deal of rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July.

Tucquala Lake
1 PHOTO This ''Lake'' Is Beautiful. It really isn't a lake at all, in the summer it is a widening of the river. Very slow moving river, more like a slough, it is very clean, clear, and cold, mountain runoff. The fishing is excellent from a small boat or float tube, although the current can be somewhat strong. I fly fished, using a #14 Adams, and caught 11 rainbow and cutthroat trout between 6 & 11'', in the early to mid evening. This was in July of 2008. Camping was good, small sites along the main road. Keep your food in the cars though as Bears are definitely out....
Wish Poosh Campground
We overnighted at this campsite a couple of weekends ago. The camp hosts were wonderful, they were informative and kept the grounds and the bathrooms spic-n-span clean. They were always in their golf cart putting around taking care of this or that. They scolded us for staying the night in a place we weren't supposed to, and I felt bad about that because I knew we shouldn't have stayed there but my partner insisted and it was his birthday. I knew they were just keeping order at the campground they were in charge of, and I appreciated that. Keep up the good work!...
Bonnie Lake
Bonney lake Is not trained. It is drained in the winter, who ever runs the dam doesn't man it in winter so they let it drain. There was talk that they would not fill it any more....Just heard that Bonnie Lake is drained in the winter and then refilled in the Spring. Can you tell me why?...
Stephens Pass
15 miles away 1 PHOTO Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
Snoqualmie
17 miles away 3 PHOTOS From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Consider it a buffet for the outdoor enthusiast! For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do! So if you're looking for a true escape this winter, look no further than The Summit. Just around the corner... ...A MILLION MILES AWAY!...
