What a nice lake Devils Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Leland Lake right next door to Devils Lake; dry warm beds await you at Inn at Port Hadlock. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Devils Lake you ought to visit Frenchmans Point, and it's a good idea to check out Big Quilcene River. Don't leave Devils Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Zion Trail, and you need to pop by South

| | Point since you're here. If you need a site to stay Oxford Suites Silverdale is a great choice, and a picturesque lake like Tarboo Lake is a great location to go to. All through the months of summer highs here at Devils Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Olympic Mountains rocks! At Devils Lake you always meet someone from Bremerton-Silverdale, and there are delightful spots to explore along the Deadfall Trail. Devils Lake is a wet location that gets much rain; December is when
you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is July. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. Mount Walker is uncomplicated to spot from Devils Lake, also Quilcene Boat Haven
is worth going to while you're here. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do close to Devils Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the
Olympic Mountains has to offer. If you came to camp Cove Rv Park is a good place to do that, and splendid hiking is available along the Mount Jupiter Trail. Paddling on Big Quilcene River is so much fun; Devils Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Falls View Campground is a fine local campground.

Cattail Lake
 | 12 miles away Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911. I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time. It is a small natural lake with no dam. I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds. CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale.... |
