Many people like to go to Derrick Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Derrick Lake. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and Preacher Mountain is clearly visible from Derrick Lake. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is great! There's so much to do here at Derrick Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a splendid location for that; do take a hike on the

| | Middle Fork Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. There's whitewater on Taylor River for all you adrenaline junkies, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Cripple Creek.
Derrick Lake typically gets a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. At Derrick Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. | |

Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Derrick Lake during the wintertime frequently sink into the 30's. Derrick Lake is located in
the Northern Cascade Range.
While you're here at Derrick Lake, you could also check out pretty Lake Caroline; Cascadia Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Best Western
Inn. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Derrick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Commonwealth Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Alpental, and the Pratt
Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Really great skiing awaits you at Snoqualmie; Derrick Lake is right by the Mount Defiance Trail.
