Delanty Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Delanty Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up usually; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Aladdin Motor Inns, and Discovery Bay Camp-peniel's is a wonderful local campground. High temperatures at Delanty Lake during the summertime months are in the 60's. | | moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Delanty Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Big Quilcene River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Delanty Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Leland Lake Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. and after a long day outdoors Inn at Port Hadlock is a great place to spend a night or two. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Olympic Mountains has to offer. While you're here at Delanty Lake, you could
also have a look at pretty Sunset Lake, and Delanty Lake is right by the Bear Mountain Trail. Having a nice time in the Olympic Mountains is easy. Do visit Peterson Lake near Delanty Lake, it's a striking lake, and there's brilliant
hiking along the Deadfall Trail. What a place this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Quilcene River, and there's always City Lakes Dam to check out near Delanty Lake.

Cattail Lake
 | 13 miles away Cattail Lake in within the Bangor Naval Submarine Base and has not been accessible (even to most navy personnel) since 911. I have not been to Cattail Lake in a long time. It is a small natural lake with no dam. I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds. CRISTA Camps & Conference center is at the south end of Island Lake in Silverdale.... |
