This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Deer Lake, you'll discover Nelson Lake which is a pretty lake; the skiing at 49 Degrees North is good. It is very arid here at Deer Lake ordinarily; December is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. Stay the night at Loon Lake Acres, and Bald Mountain is beautiful and can be spotted from here. Since       you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Benson Lake.
