This lake is so wonderful. Deer Lake is a place with many visitors from Port Angeles, and the Deer Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Soleduck River - North Fork. All the water falling down from the sky makes Deer Lake a wet spot; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest month is July. This       lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. Summertime at Deer Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Deer Lake tend to be in the 30's. Deer Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Soleduck                  Campground, and Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is a very popular ski area nearby. Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. Lyre River is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Deer Lake, and Deer Lake is not the only spot nearby, Hidden Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lovers Lane, and a lake nearby is Bogachiel Lake. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a glorious place for that; do take a hike on the Canyon Creek Hoh Trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Olympic Mountains.
