A journey to Useless Bay right next door to Deer Lagoon is always a great idea, and Deer Lagoon is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Mutiny Bay Resort is a wonderful site to camp nearby. What a site this is for outdoors people. Do go to Lake Goss in the vicinity of Deer Lagoon, it's a pretty lake, and Silver Cloud Inn Mukilteo is a magnificent site to get some rest. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Deer Lagoon temperatures fall to the 30's. Cattail Lake
