Washington has many beautiful lakes and Deepwater Lake is one of them. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Olympic Mountains. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a fine choice, and do take a look at Bathtub Lake, it's a wonderful lake. The high level of rainfall makes Deepwater Lake a relatively wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deepwater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Summertide Resort, and soar down the rapids of Jefferson Creek in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lake Limerick Country Club is in the neighborhood, and lots of folks from Shelton come here. So many entertaining things in the Olympic Mountains, just amazing. Near Deepwater Lake you hit upon the Mount Jupiter | |

Trail which is a great hiking trail. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Stay the night at Robin Hood Cottages, and after a long day outdoors Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a perfect site to spend a night or two.
Paddling on
Hamma Hamma River is so much fun; Cranberry Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. At Deepwater Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 70's. When
the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Deepwater Lake tend to be in the 30's.
