Deep Lake generally gets much rain; most of the rain falls during December; the driest month of the year is July. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Deep Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Camping at Deep Lake is great fun, Olympia Campgrounds is a great local campground. Some close by water includes Allen Creek, and you'll discover a picturesque       lake called Pitman Lake. If you came for an overnight stay American Heritage Campgrounds is a delightful site to camp, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Tumwater. And that's not all you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. Deep Lake is a place with many visitors from Olympia, and paddling on Deschutes River is so much fun. Summertime highs at Deep Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
