Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Deep Lake. Here at Deep Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Olympia, and a striking lake like Pitman Lake is a good place to check out. Allen Creek is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, and Comfort Inn Tumwater is a great place to get some rest. All year is a good time in the Olympic Mountains if you like the       outdoors. Scott Lake Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by; Deschutes River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. High temperatures at Deep Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Deep Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Olympia Campgrounds                  is a tremendous campground nearby, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Springer Lake. Deep Lake is a relatively wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through December; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too great to be true.
