The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Deep Lake commonly gets much rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. There's whitewater on Cowlitz River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; dry warm beds await you at Randle Motel.       This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Cispus River in the neighborhood of Deep Lake, and hiking along the Independence Pass Interpretive Trail is brilliant fun. The top of Goat Mountain is easily observed from Deep Lake, and camping at Quartz Creek Big Trees Campground is always a perfect experience. Going for a hike along the Bean Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Deadmans                  Lake is a fine lake close by. Summertime highs at Deep Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Deep Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is great! A tremendous location to camp here at Deep Lake is Taidnapam Park, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Smith Creek Trail. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Deep Lake.
