There are other places here than Deep Lake, for example Lemei Lake, and Rodeway Inn Stevenson is a tremendous place to get some rest. If you come at the right time of year, Lewis River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater, and if you came for an overnight stay Cultus Creek Campground is a brilliant spot to camp. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Deep Lake. There are splendid spots to discover       along the Cougar Way, and at Deep Lake you can distinguish Bird Mountain. Going for a hike on the Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure. Lakes? Sure, Cultus Lake is close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Quartz Creek; after a long day outdoors Skamania Lodge is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Deep Lake typically tend to be in the 70's with overnight                  lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Deep Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Near Deep Lake you find the East Crater Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Cold Spring Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
