A good close by hotel is Waitsburg Inn; camping at Lyons Ferry Marina is always a perfect experience. It is very dried up here at Deep Lake generally; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. Whitewater paddling is fine on Palouse River, and a lake close by is Long Lake. Summertime highs at Deep       Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's.
