La Quinta Inn And Suites Spokane is a glorious place to get some rest, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Spokane while you're here. From a rainfall point of view Decie Lake is a reasonably normal spot; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is commonly the driest month. After a long day outdoors Best Western Peppertree Liberty Lake Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and at Decie Lake you can make out Mount

| | Pisgah. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Spokane River; a lake nearby is Lynda Lake.
An attention-grabbing thing to pop by close to Decie Lake is Decie Lake Dam, and Bear Paw Camp & Retreat Center is a good campground nearby. So many entertaining things to do at Decie Lake, so little time. Isabelle Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; Audrey's RV Park is a perfect local campground.

Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful.... |
