Deception Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The warmest time of the year at Deception Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Deception Lakes. Why not go to Square Lake Dam if you're here, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Davis Peak Lookout Trail.

| | This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
Man, is there a load of fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Tucquala Meadow Campground, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Stephens Pass is quite near. A great deal of rain falls at Deception Lakes; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Lake Michael Trail is delightful fun, and a magnificent place to stop by nearby is Deception Pass.
So much exciting stuff to do at Deception Lakes, so little time. If you need a location to stay Cascadia Inn is a good choice, and going for a hike along the Escondido Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
You definitely should love the Northern Cascade Range. Skyriver Inn is a fine site to get some rest; get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Tye River. You'll find a charming lake called Daisy Lake near Deception Lakes; there's whitewater on Deception Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
