Meadows Campground is a brilliant local campground, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Buckskin Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dead Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is July. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Why not camp at Holman Campground since you're       here at Dead Lake, and there's good hiking along the Monument Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lake of the Pines is a magnificent lake near Dead Lake, and Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Dead Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Visit Frosty Creek while you're here at Dead Lake; don't leave Dead Lake without first going for a hike along the Boundary Trail. Good hiking is available                  along the West Fork Methow Trail; Sun Mountain Lodge is a pleasant spot to get some rest. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Lost River. Throughout the long summer days at Dead Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
