During the summertime highs here at Day Lake get into the 60's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Day Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Summit Lake since you're here at Day Lake; it's close by, and for you golfers we recommend close by Orcas Island Golf Course. From a rain point       of view Day Lake is a reasonably normal spot; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're here at Day Lake, you could go to Cold Creek, and a great nearby hotel is Rosario Resort. Camping at Doe Bay Village Resort is always a splendid experience, and a day at Chin-Chin-Tse-Tung is time well spent. A great place to camp here at Day                  Lake is West Beach Resort. You get a tremendous panorama of Buck Mountain from Day Lake; don't leave Day Lake without first paying a visit to Cold Spring.
