Davis Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Lake Campground is a good local campground, and unsurprisingly, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Renner Lake is a lake close at hand. All our national parks are wonderful spots to stop by, and Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is no exception, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always       visit nearby Emerald Lake. Camping at Canyon Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Kettle River offers some nice whitewater. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Davis Lake has to offer. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Colville is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Echo Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting; there are                  some splendid whitewater spots on Sherman Creek. High temperatures at Davis Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Davis Lake.
