What a nice lake Dahlbero Ponds is. Having a glorious time in the Northern Cascade Range is painless. Dry warm beds await you at GuestHouse Inn & Suites M, and get wet paddling on Canyon Creek South Fork Stillaguamish Tributary. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Dahlbero Ponds rocks! | | Cascade Range has to offer. A great sight of picturesque Dahlbero Mountain is available from Dahlbero Ponds; Turlo Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Dahlbero Ponds is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Dahlbero Ponds commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. and Canyon Creek is right next door to Dahlbero Ponds and is always a joy to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Granite Falls is a fine local attraction. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Connor Park is a tremendous site to camp;
Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Finney Peak Trail; not far from Dahlbero Ponds you'll stumble on Jordan Ponds which is a charming lake.

 | 15 miles away WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot.... |
