Summertime highs at Dahlbero Ponds generally tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and night lows at Dahlbero Ponds during the winter regularly sink into the 30's. Mountain from Dahlbero Ponds; get dripping wet paddling on Stillaguamish River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Dahlbero Ponds called the Finney Peak Trail. A lot of rainfall
falls at Dahlbero Ponds; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lost Lake is a nearby
lake that you could go to, and the Gee Point Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. Any time is a great time at Dahlbero Ponds if you like the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sky Valley Inn is a glorious
location to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dahlbero Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Turlo Campground.

 | 15 miles away WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot.... |
