Yeah, come here to Cutthroat Lakes for a wonderful time. Why not camp at River Bar Campground if you're here at Cutthroat Lakes. If you came for an overnight stay Red Bridge Campground is a fine spot to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Finney Peak Trail. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Stillaguamish River - South Fork, and Best Western Sky Valley
Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Sultan Basin, and a lake close by is East Boardman Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Some close by water includes South Fork Sultan River; Cutthroat Lakes is not the only location nearby, Bald Mountain Lake is a nearby lake.
At Cutthroat Lakes all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are usually

in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cutthroat Lakes. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cutthroat Lakes a wet site; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month.

This was a beautiful hike, coming out on a lake that was pristine and gorgeous. The only problem is, the hike is really long, steep, up hill, and was exhausting for me. I would consider this an upper intermediate hike....

Lake Fontal
18 miles away
WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals, always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot....

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
