     This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Stehekin River in a kayak, and the vista of pretty Hinkhouse Peak is wonderful. High temperatures at Cutthroat Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cutthroat Lake are in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Rainbow Lake Trail is always a great adventure, and Cutthroat  
   Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Meadows Campground is a perfect local campground.
If you come at the right time of year, Granite Creek offers some fine whitewater, and Lower Snowy Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. So many cool things to do here at Cutthroat Lake, too perfect to be true. Cutthroat Pass is a nice site to spend some time at, and a nice location to camp here at Cutthroat Lake is Roads End Campground.
 
               Cutthroat Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is when it's the driest.
Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a nice time. Near Cutthroat Lake you find the West Fork Methow Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and since you're here, you could also explore beautiful Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant sites to discover along the Driveway Butte Trail. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently. If you need a spot to stay Sun Mountain Lodge is a good choice, and if you're keen on cool geologic highlights try Cutthroat Peak.
