    If you are in Okanogan county it's always a good idea to stop by Cutthroat Lake. Cutthroat Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's tremendous hiking along the West Fork Methow Trail, and the sight of Hinkhouse Peak is gorgeous. Having a brilliant time at Cutthroat Lake is simple. No need to travel far to check out interesting stuff like Cutthroat Peak, and Meadows Campground is a nice local campground.

   view Cutthroat Lake is a pretty normal place; most of the snow falls through December while July is mostly the driest month. For the duration of the summertime months at Cutthroat Lake highs are typically in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Cutthroat Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern  
               Cascade Range. Near Cutthroat Lake you find splendid sites like Cutthroat Pass, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cutthroat Lake; Rainbow Lake Trail is a perfect local trail.
So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just mind-boggling. The Driveway Butte Trail offers hiking at its best. Paddling on Granite Creek is so much fun, and Cutthroat Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Roads End Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Stehekin River; if you need a site to stay Adventure Inn is a perfect choice.
