La Quinta Inn AND Suites Vancouver is a delightful place to get some rest, and a spree to Shillapoo Lake rejuvenates the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Curtis Lake is Lewis River - East Fork, and Curtis Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Sauvie       Cove Store and RV Park is a good location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, and you are near Knapp Point if you're here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Curtis Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Curtis Lake through the wintertime typically dip into the 30's. Curtis                  Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with much rain; December is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike along the Georges Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Curtis Lake has to offer, you can camp at Reeder Beach RV Park; there are other spots here than Curtis Lake, for example Green Lake. A swamp like Buckmire Slough close to Curtis Lake has lots of attention-grabbing things to see, and near Curtis Lake you find a golf course called Pine Crest Golf Course. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time.
