A great close by hotel is La Quinta Inn & Suites Vancouver. There are swamps here too; Buckmire Slough is close by, and Knapp Point is close at hand and always brilliant to have a look at. A good deal of rainfall falls at Curtis Lake; all through December this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. All through the warm days of summer at Curtis Lake highs       are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Curtis Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Curtis Lake you can play some golf at Pine Crest Golf Course; you're sure to bump into some great folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Curtis Lake.
