A visit to Curlew Lake is always a good idea. Be careful coming to Curlew Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. The peak of Mount Elizabeth can be seen from Curlew Lake, and nearby you discover Fishermans Cove. Go for a hike on the Storm King Trail; Malo Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. It is very arid here at Curlew Lake frequently; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month is October.

Don't leave Curlew Lake without first going for a hike along the Empire Drive Trail; Curlew Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Tiffany's Resort is a perfect local campground. Going for a hike on the Laws Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you get bored of Curlew Lake you could also explore close by Empire Lake. This lake is so wonderful. unsurprisingly Barrett Creek flows through this neighborhood. During the summer here at Curlew Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout
the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Curlew Lake are in the 10's. Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a very tremendous spot to go to in close proximity to Curlew Lake. There's so much to do here
at Curlew Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fisherman's Cove Resort is a pleasant location for that.

 | 41 miles away Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful.... |
