Camping at South Navarre Campground is always a good experience, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail. A lake close by is Bernice Lake, and going for a hike on the Duncan Hill Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Summer at Cub Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to       the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Cub Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came to camp Prince Creek Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and close by you stumble on the Hunters Trail which is a great hiking trail. Having a great time at Cub Lake is uncomplicated. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Twisp                  River, and Sun Mountain Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Cub Lake, you could also explore close by Dry Lake, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Methow River. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. The peak of Old Maid Mountain can be observed from Cub Lake; it's a good idea to visit Middle Fork Prince Creek. From a rainfall point of view Cub Lake is a rather typical site; most of the snow falls all through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
