Summer brings highs in the 70's to Crystal Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Crystal Lake sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Mount Defiance Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Crystal Lake is right next door to Hemlock Pass which is undeniably worth taking

| | a look at. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Do visit Cold Lake in the vicinity of Crystal Lake, it's a scenic lake; hey, Humpback Creek is a perfect local stream. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Snowshoe Falls is a wonderful local attraction, and why not head up to Snoqualmie and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Pratt Lake Trail is splendid fun; if | |

you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a fine choice. Camping is available at Commonwealth Campground, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Annette Lake Trail. No way I can stop, cause I'm
havin' a good time here at Crystal Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Snoqualmie River - South Fork offers some good whitewater, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Alpental. Having a great
time in the Northern Cascade Range is trouble-free. Cad Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and you can distinguish Granite Mountain from Crystal Lake. Now, you may assume that's lots but there's even more amusing
stuff to do here at Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. There are some great whitewater spots on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and why not camp at Crystal Springs Campground if you're here at Crystal Lake.

Honey Lake
 | The lake no longer has any trails to it. All trails are gone from nature reclaiming it. The only way into lake is through quartz creek road(no vehicles)2.5 miles. From there it is a bushwack up to the ridge(2000 ft). From the ridge you can see honey lake. 1000 feet down. The bush is thick in that area (45 degree angle going up and down(or it seem that steep). 15 years ago some guys fished out the lake in one day. Before tha the fish were between 18 to 24 inches rainbow. If you can make it you deserve the good fishing. Haven't fished there in 20 years it may not have any fish in it or it has big fish (I dont know never made it close enough recently to fish). Good luck.

Pacific Crest Trail - section 25
 | 12 miles away Roundtrip Distance 17.4 miles Elevation Gain 2,574 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map.... |

Stephens Pass
 | 17 miles away 1 PHOTO Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out... |
