Lake Crescent is a nice lake to visit. Some of the water nearby flows, like Aurora Creek, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Aurora Trail. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from Port Angeles here, and Lake Crescent is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Lyre River Park is a perfect local campground.

| | hotel is Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort; get covered with water paddling on Lyre River. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Marymere Falls will fill your spirit with good feelings, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Pyramid Mountain Trail.

of summer highs here at Lake Crescent reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Crescent descend into the 30's.
All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Head up to Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge and strap some skis to your feet, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Soleduck River - North
Fork.
A lot of rain falls at Lake Crescent; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Lake Crescent. The peak of Aurora Peak can be
spotted from Lake Crescent. There's so much to do here at Lake Crescent that you need to camp here for a while, Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a delightful location for that.
