Lake Crescent is always a pleasure to visit. A lot of precipitation falls at Lake Crescent; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Soleduck River - North Fork, and Barnes Point is not far at all. And that's not all you can do here in the Olympic Mountains.

Lake Crescent. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Lake Crescent has it all. Really good skiing awaits you at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and lots of people from Port Angeles come here. Lyre River Park is a great
campground here; while you're here you can take a hike along the Pyramid Mountain Trail. There is a good hiking trail close to Lake Crescent called the Aurora Trail, and Aurora Peak is beautiful and can be seen from here. So many
enjoyable things in the Olympic Mountains, just striking. On a pleasant day at Lake Crescent you can take a hike along the North Fork Soleduck River Trail, and Marymere Falls is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful.
There's some flowing water nearby, Aurora Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Lyre River offers some nice whitewater.
