Point. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Lake Crescent called the Aurora Trail, and Lake Crescent is a place with many visitors from Port Angeles. And if that's
not enough there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, and why not camp at Lyre River Park if you're here at Lake Crescent. Man, is there loads of entertaining
things to do right next door to Lake Crescent. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Lake Crescent is Aurora Peak; get covered with water paddling on Soleduck River - North Fork. Lake Crescent is a wet location
that gets lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Log Cabin Resort and Trailer, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Lyre River.
This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Marymere Falls will fill your soul with fine feelings; it's a brilliant idea to take a look at Aurora Creek.
