Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Crescent Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Crescent Lake plunge into the 30's. | | the surroundings of Crescent Lake is Crescent Mountain; get wet paddling on White River. Crystal Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and a quick visit to Crescent Creek is without doubt a glorious idea. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Good hiking is available along the Carbon Trail, and a lake close by is Chenuis Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. nearby, Oliver Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Northern Loop Trail; a trip to Mount Rainier National Park is recommended. Crescent Lake really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise.
Crescent Lake sits in the shade of the Sluiskin Mountains; a fine nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a fine time. A tremendous place to camp here at Crescent Lake is Ipsut Creek Campground.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Windy Gap is a splendid place to explore in close proximity to Crescent Lake, and a visit to Alice Falls will fill your soul with great feelings. There's brilliant hiking along the Ipsut Creek Trail; a cool spot to take a look at is Carbon Glacier.

I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail.
