During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Crescent Lake plunge into the 30's. Crescent Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Crescent Lake gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest of the months is July. One of the major features of       the surroundings of Crescent Lake is Crescent Mountain; get wet paddling on White River. Crystal Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and a quick visit to Crescent Creek is without doubt a glorious idea. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Good hiking is available along the Carbon Trail, and a lake close by is Chenuis Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Cougar Rock Campground; Bee Flat is a great site to stretch                  your legs a bit. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - White River Tributary; Crescent Lake is not the only location nearby, Oliver Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Northern Loop Trail; a trip to Mount Rainier National Park is recommended. Crescent Lake really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Crescent Lake sits in the shade of the Sluiskin Mountains; a fine nearby hotel is Kings Valu Inn. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range for a fine time. A tremendous place to camp here at Crescent Lake is Ipsut Creek Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Windy Gap is a splendid place to explore in close proximity to Crescent Lake, and a visit to Alice Falls will fill your soul with great feelings.
