If you came to camp Mill Pond Campground is a tremendous site to do that; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Colville is a great choice. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things right next door to Crescent Lake. If you get bored of Crescent Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Lower Lead King Lake. Through the days of summer at Crescent Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, typically
in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Crescent Lake tend to be in the 10's. Crescent Lake is a location that is quite dehydrated ordinarily; December is the wettest month with most snow, and September meanwhile is the driest month.
Crescent Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sullivan Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground, and it's a good idea to

go to Lime Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Sullivan River, and Contact Mountain is a peak you can see from Crescent Lake. Boundary Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and there are nice places to explore along the Terry Trail.

Extremely remote with no improved trail to Wolf Lake. If you go there check out the woodduck boxes installed by FS many years ago....

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area
54 miles away
Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful....
