If the weather is great here at Crater Lakes, you can go for a hike along the North Fork Trail. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is close by. Crater Lakes is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Sun Cove Resort and Guest Ranch is a perfect campground nearby, and       since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Irwins Pond. You get a great vista of Whisky Mountain from Crater Lakes; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Mill Creek Trail. Crater Lakes is a location that is rather dried up regularly; the wettest month of the year is mostly December,                  that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is July. Throughout the warm months at Crater Lakes highs are usually in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's.
