Sullivan River is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Crater Lake, and the summit of Crowell Mountain can be seen from Crater Lake. Crater Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sullivan Lake Campground is a great local campground; there's wonderful hiking along the Terry Trail. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Colville is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; not       far from Crater Lake you'll hit upon Sullivan Lake which is a pretty lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Crater Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is September. All through the summer months at Crater Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the                  30's while the cold winter nights at Crater Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Mill Pond Campground is a good location to do that. Lakes? Sure, Mill Pond is in the vicinity.
