Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Lake Leprechaun Dam is not far at all from Cranberry Lake, and Rex Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Robin Hood Cottages is a brilliant local campground, and get drenched paddling on Hamma Hamma River. For the period of the months of summer at Cranberry Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The       cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Cranberry Lake throughout the wintertime commonly drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a tremendous choice, and if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Lake Limerick Country Club. Cranberry Lake generally gets a great deal of rain; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July.                  A great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Shelton, and Pines Trailer and Recreational is a glorious campground nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Do visit Deepwater Lake in close proximity to Cranberry Lake, it's a striking lake; during your spree here you'll meet some people from Shelton for sure. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too great to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jefferson Creek.
