So many entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range, just phenomenal. A glorious vista of wonderful Harding Mountain is available from Cradle Lake; a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Cle Elum River. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. The Lake Michael Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Cradle Lake, and if you don't mind       getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Icicle Creek. During the warm months at Cradle Lake temperatures are commonly in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cradle Lake drop into the 10's. Cradle Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is lots already, but it keeps                  on going; Cradle Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Cradle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Pine Campground is a great location for that; Stewart Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Cradle Lake called the Davis Peak Lookout Trail, and a brilliant close by hotel is Suncadia Resort. Cradle Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cradle Lake you hit upon the Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.
