Custom Search     Crabapple Lake     I have spent a majority of my summer just fishing Crabapple lake. In fact, at least 20 times, I had the only boat on this lake. This year the larger rainbow natives have been showing up. We have recorded them any where from solid 11 1/2'' all the way to 18'' or 19''. It has been a fun summer. Outside of last year, major medical, I have spent the last 5-7 years fishing this lake 2-3 years ago, it was pretty quiet. 4-6 years ago, it was a great lake as well.     It is small but beautiful, calm and easily my favorite lake. But don't tell anyone I told you, our secret. It is a seasonal lake. Possibly due to close at the end of October.I fish for sport, so we always practiced catch and release.
