This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Mountain is beautiful and can be distinguished from Coweeman Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Toutle River Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Toutle - South Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Battle Ground Inn & Suites. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun       things in the Northern Cascade Range. At Coweeman Lake you always meet someone from Longview-Kelso. Lone Fir Resort is a delightful location to get some rest, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Fawn Lake Trail. All year is a good time in the Northern Cascade Range if you adore the outdoors. Saddle Dam Campground is a tremendous campground here, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Georges Peak Trail. Coweeman Lake usually                  gets much precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. Summertime highs at Coweeman Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Coweeman Lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Coweeman Lake.
