This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Coweeman Lake, you'll locate Big Bull Lake which is a pretty lake. This place rules, just check out all the cool things to do in the neighborhood of Coweeman Lake. Lots of folks from Longview-Kelso come to Coweeman Lake; after a long day outdoors The Inn at Salmon Creek is a brilliant       location to spend a night or two. The sight of wonderful Elk Mountain near Coweeman Lake is wonderful, and Saddle Dam Campground is a tremendous local campground. A lot of precipitation falls at Coweeman Lake; through December this area sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Merrill Lake                  Campground is a glorious place to camp; there's good hiking along the Fawn Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Toutle - South Fork, and don't leave Coweeman Lake without first going for a hike along the Georges Peak Trail. That right there is a load of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Good hiking is available along the Toutle River Trail. Lakes are tremendous; Lakeview Peak Lake is a lake that's close to Coweeman Lake. During the months of summer at Coweeman Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Coweeman Lake.
