Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Salmon Creek. Coweeman Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Any time is a tremendous time at Coweeman Lake if you fancy the outdoors. From Coweeman Lake you acquire a nice panorama of Elk Mountain, and this is a popular place for folks from Longview-Kelso. Camping at Merrill Lake Campground is always a perfect experience;       going for a hike on the Georges Peak Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Coweeman Lake is a pretty wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls through December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are delightful places to discover along the Toutle River Trail; camping is available at Saddle Dam Campground. All year is a wonderful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.                  Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Kalama River, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Battle Ground Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. At Coweeman Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Coweeman Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
