Washington has many beautiful lakes and Coweeman Lake is one of them. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Toutle - South Fork. You get a nice view of Elk Mountain from Coweeman Lake, and great hiking is available along the Georges Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Merrill Lake Campground, and if you need a spot to stay

Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things near Coweeman Lake. A nice nearby hotel is The Inn at Salmon Creek, and there are plenty of people from Longview-Kelso here at Coweeman Lake. There's so much to do here at Coweeman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Saddle Dam Campground is a glorious place for that, and the Fawn Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. the Northern Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Kalama River offers some wonderful whitewater, and there's fine hiking along the Toutle River Trail.
The high level of precipitation makes Coweeman Lake a rather
wet location; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Coweeman Lake through the summertime
months are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Coweeman Lake are in the 30's.
