Go to Cougar Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Cougar Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. The high level of rain makes Cougar Lake a pretty wet location; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Stephens Pass, and nearby you come across the Meadow Mountain Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.

Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Head up to Alpental and strap some skis to your feet; going for a hike on the Camp Creek Ridge Trail is always a magnificent adventure. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sloan Creek; camping is available at Bedal Campground. For the period of the summer at Cougar Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the
50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Cougar Lake.
That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Cougar Lake has it all. The summit of Bedal Peak can be spotted from Cougar Lake, and if you've had enough of Cougar Lake, Nels Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Penders Canyon is a wonderful place to go if you're at Cougar Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Sauk River - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot near Cougar Lake, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cadet Lake is just a very short distance away.
The Lost Creek Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Cougar Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Chocwich Campground is a good place to camp.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
