Cougar Lake gets very little rain; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Island Lake; going for a hike along the Monument Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. The warmest time of the year at Cougar Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the       overnight is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Cougar Lake dip into the 10's. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Cougar Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. And that's not all you can do here at Cougar Lake. A good site to camp here at Cougar Lake is Ballard Campground,                  and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Boundary Trail. So much entertaining stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just astonishing. If the weather is great here at Cougar Lake, you can go for a hike along the Driveway Butte Trail, and one of the principal marks of the surroundings of Cougar Lake is Island Mountain. Visit Little Willy Creek since you're here at Cougar Lake, obviously you could also go to First Hidden Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
