    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Cougar Lake. At Cougar Lake you don’t see much rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area near Cougar Lake has to offer. Bowen Creek is a good place to visit; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chewuch River. All year is a good time in the Northern Cascade  
   Range if you adore the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cougar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Davis Lake Campground, and hiking along the South Fork Trail is good fun.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Cougar Lake, you could also have a look at close by Campbell Lake; get your heart beating
 
               on the good whitewater of Chewuch River. Davis Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Cougar Lake you discover a golf course called Bear Creek Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bluff Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Loup Loup Ski Bowl has great slopes and a friendly staff; don’t forget to visit Cougar Flat if you're here at Cougar Lake. There's so much to do here at Cougar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pearrygin Lake State Park is a glorious location for that, and you can hit the slopes at Echo Valley in close proximity.
All through the warm months here at Cougar Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; night lows during the wintertime for Cougar Lake tend to be in the 10's. Cougar Lake is right by the Pearrygin Trail, and Bowen Mountain is a peak you can observe from Cougar Lake.

Pearrygin Lake State Park is a 962-acre camping park in the Methow Valley in north central Washington. The park features expansive green lawns leading to 11,000 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake. The lake offers swimming, fishing and boating. Old willows and ash provide shade on hot summer days. 165 campsites, 97 electrical and water service sites (70 of these with sewer hookups), 68 standard sites.
